Fish soup (halászlé) is a popular Christmas dish (but also year-round), served with slices of fresh white bread, and add as much paprika as you can take! Gundel palacsinta is a crêpe with a filling made from walnut, raisin, rum and lemon zest, served with a chocolate sauce. At some places it is served flambéed.
