To ensure great fields, this winter the Club invested in secondary drainage at Flemish Farm – on both the Cavalry and Castle Grounds – as well as carrying out work at Coworth Park, where we will continue to manage the polo. The total spend of this work was in excess of £ 100,000 and I cannot think of a better way of confirming to the polo community – at home and abroad – that Guards Polo Club remains committed to excellence and continued improvement.
Of course, another key element to Guards Polo Club’ s success is its cohort of impressive sponsors. So, I am delighted that Hildon Natural Mineral Water will be expanding its involvement with Guards Polo Club from this season. Hildon has, for many years, been an official supplier to the Club, but following the tragic passing of our close friend Christian Heppe, both the company and Guards Polo Club wanted to find a fitting way to fulfil his legacy. While there has been significant restructuring of Hildon as a business, we were able to sign a much-improved, financially lucrative, three-year contact with
