To ensure great fields , this winter the Club invested in secondary drainage at Flemish Farm – on both the Cavalry and Castle Grounds – as well as carrying out work at Coworth Park , where we will continue to manage the polo . The total spend of this work was in excess of £ 100,000 and I cannot think of a better way of confirming to the polo community – at home and abroad – that Guards Polo Club remains committed to excellence and continued improvement .
Of course , another key element to Guards Polo Club ’ s success is its cohort of impressive sponsors . So , I am delighted that Hildon Natural Mineral Water will be expanding its involvement with Guards Polo Club from this season . Hildon has , for many years , been an official supplier to the Club , but following the tragic passing of our close friend Christian Heppe , both the company and Guards Polo Club wanted to find a fitting way to fulfil his legacy .
