GUARDS WINS YOUNG GUNS CONTEST

The annual under 21s battle between Cowdray Park and Guards Polo Club was a 7-6 win for Guards Polo Club. Having been narrowly beaten last year, our team of Charlie Holley, Tom Brodie, Seb Hancock and Josh Cork were determined to come back from Cowdray Park with honour restored. This they did despite Cowdray’ s best efforts from a team featuring George Pearson, Tommy Beresford, Ralph Richardson and Jack Taylor. A match devised by Polo Managers Antony Fanshawe and Chris Bethell in 2016, this one-off game gives our rising stars the chance to play some competitive sport against their peers.
