Night Owls
When the sun goes down, you’ll stay up and experience
how cool camp can be in the dark! Head out on a night
hike, check out the stars, play night games, and catch
some fireflies. Don’t worry though. Even night owls get
to swim and shoot archery during the day.

S’more Fun
Sample everything Camp Hawthorne Ridge has to
offer! This includes swimming, shooting archery, cooking
out over a camp fire, testing your survival skills, making
crafts, and hiking to the gorge. Having fun at camp is what
this week is all about! Don’t forget about night games with
your new friends!

Kamp Katniss
This week is on target to be the best week of the summer!
Learn all the essential skills of the heroine Katniss Everdeen
and see if you have what it takes. Get plenty of practice
on the archery range, in addition to outdoor cooking, knife
skills, plant identification, and navigation. Once you’re
confident in your skills, put them to the test in a challenge
of skill. Who will win?

Pathfinder
Water Otters
You otter be excited for this camp! Splash into a week
of swimming, slip ’n slides, and water balloon battles.
Take some time to dry off and explore the forest with
some nature hikes, and learn about the creatures that
live both in and out of the water.

Fun at the Lagoons
Grab a buddy and your bathing suit for a week of wild
water adventures! Slip ’n slide around camp with water-
themed games and activities before taking the canoes out
for a spin on the lagoons at Presque Isle State Park. Finish
up the week at another lagoon—Splash Lagoon! Let the
water slides thrill and chill, then dry off at camp again with
archery and crafts.

Water Slides & Theme Park Rides
Spend three days off-camp swimming in Lake Erie, riding
the coasters at Waldameer, and hitting the slides at Splash
Lagoon. You’ll still have plenty of time for camp favorites
like archery, crafts, and campfires, too!

Looking for a new adventure this summer? Come explore
with us at Camp Hawtho rne Ridge! Brush up on your
outdoor skills like fire building, outdoor cooking, and setting
up a campsite under the stars. During the day, practice
your navigation skills. Learn to use a compass, how to
read a map, and what to do if you get lost. With your new
knowledge in tow, hike onto the camp trails to test your skill
in exciting wayfinding activities and races. Work your way
back to main camp for a cool dip in the pool. A Week at Hogwarts

You’ve been accepted to the 2018 Session of Hogwarts
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Bring your Hogwarts
uniform, get sorted, join our Hogwarts Dueling Club, and
work toward the Hogwarts House Cup! Come explore the
same subjects that Harry studied at Hogwarts: astronomy,
care of magical creatures, and potions. Learn how these
subjects truly connect to our Muggle world! Participants
will receive a house crest patch to take home!
