Hammock Hangout Intermediate Backpacking (Level 2)
Swing on in for a week of exploring and
relaxing. Hang out around main camp
to test your rock climbing skills, take
aim at archery, and cool off in the
pool. Afterward, hit the trails to find
the perfect campsite to hang your
hammock and spend the night under
the stars. Brush up your outdoor
cooking skills the next morning with
a warm breakfast for everyone. Do you enjoy spending your nights under the stars and
preparing your own meals? Have you tried backpacking
before? Can you start a one-match fire? Take your
outdoor skills to the next level with our intermediate
backpacking trip. Refresh on your basic outdoors skills
like outdoor cooking, trip preparation, knife skills, and
water purifying at camp. When you’re ready, hit the trail
for a two-night adventure into the woods! Pack your
bag for the trail ahead and hike into some of the most
beautiful scenery in western PA—and put all your outdoor
expertise to use.

outdoor fun and games with a water battle and a mini
mud challenge, but don’t leave camp before you spend
some time working on our permanent piece of camp art. Step back in time as Camp Conshatawba travels back
to 1912 to explore the world of our Girl Scout founder,
Juliette Gordon Low! What did Girl Scouts do at camp?
How did Juliette dress? What’s semaphore? Explore like a
Girl Scout in 1912 and pack up for a final overnight hike to
camp as our founder and her troop would have done.
