Camp Sessions
Counselor-in-Training 1 (CIT 1)
Counselors are pretty awesome, right? Want to be just like them? This exciting,
eight-day program helps CITs develop their skills by learning from experienced
staff and then working with campers directly. You’ll gain valuable experience
in working with children, such as program development, creating great camp
culture, and behavior management. CIT 1 is offered at Camp Conshatawba,
Camp Hawthorne Ridge, and Camp Skymeadow. (CIT 1 is a prerequisite for CIT 2.)
Entering Grades: 9-12
Session 1 Camp Conshatawba:
June 23-30, Sun.–Sun. (7 nights)
Session 2 Camp Hawthorne Ridge:
July 21-28, Sun.–Sun. (7 nights)
Session 3 Camp Skymeadow:
July 28-August 4, Sun.–Sun. (7 nights)
Cost: $300 per person

Want to take your leadership experience to the next level? Join the team and
feel what it’s like to be a counselor. Pick a camp, and we’ll see you there! CIT 2 is
offered at both Camp Conshatawba and Camp Hawthorne Ridge. (Prerequisite:
Completion of CIT 1 program at a GSWPA camp.)

Wrangler-in-Training 1 (WIT 1)
Camp Skymeadow
What better way to spend the summer than teaching younger girls about your
favorite topic—horses! You’ll shadow barn staff, help wranglers with barn and
herd care, share your horse knowledge with campers, and spend time doing
other classic camp activities. (WIT 1 is a prerequisite for WIT 2.)
Entering Grades: 9-12
Session 1: June 23-28, Sun.-Fri. (5 nights)
Session 2: July 7-12, Sun.-Fri. (5 nights)
Session 3: July 14-19 Sun.-Fri. (5 nights)
Session 4: July 21-26 Sun.-Fri. (5 nights)

Wrangler-in-Training 2 (WIT 2)
Camp Skymeadow
Want to step up your wrangler training? Join the barn team and feel what it’s like
to be a horseback riding instructor at summer camp. Catch, lead, tie, and saddle
horses for girls to ride. Don’t worry, you’ll also have a chance to walk, trot, and
canter, too! (Prerequisite: Completion of WIT 1 program at a GSWPA camp.)
Entering Grades: 11-12
Dates: July 14-26, Sun.-Fri. (12 nights)
Cost: $300 per person
