Apocalypse Avengers
Zombies, meteors, and plagues—oh my! From the
natural to the supernatural, get prepared for whatever
apocalypse might come our way. Learn emergency
preparation and survival skills through fun apocalyptic
challenges and games. Archery, geocaching, and
nature identification will give you the edge you need
to survive! You’ll also get to swim and play camp
games before the world comes crashing down!
Entering Grades: 4-8

Crafty Creations
If creative creations are your jam, this is the session
for you! Explore your artistic side through a variety
of mediums—indoors and out. From drawing and
sculpting to jewelry and mosaics, you’ll try your hand
at everything. Round out your days with fun in the
pool and shooting sports!
Holidaze
It’s time to celebrate! Christmas in July, Halloween in the
summer, and kicking off your Fourth of July festivities all
await you at Camp Hawthorne Ridge. Holiday-themed
crafts and games will fill your days, and parties and
festivals will fill your nights. Don’t forget about your camp
favorites, like swimming, nature, and archery, too.

Midnight Madness
Glow for it! Stay up late and shine a light on new aspects of
Camp Hawthorne Ridge at night. Soak up the stars through
telescopes, peer into the weird quirks of nocturnal nature,
and plan your own after-dark glow party extravaganza.
You’ll even learn the stealthy art of camp-friendly pranks!

Science Sampler Slumber Party
You don’t have to be an Einstein to come to this
camp. Come sample an entire science fair’s worth of
cool science projects and experiments in a packed
week of rocket launches, animals and critters, smash
and crash physics, and beautiful botany. There are
lots of other things to do at camp, too, like archery,
swimming, and crafts! Grab your pajamas and fuzzy slippers and come to camp
for the ultimate slumber party! Meet new friends and
have tons of fun experiencing all that camp has to offer.
During the day, swim in the pool, play in our gaga ball pit,
shoot arrows, and take hikes around camp. At night, the
fun continues with nail painting, dance parties, stargazing,
and even a movie night.
