V ision L imits without After School Activities 2 1 3 6 1. Hannah Joyner paints using the Korean traditional paint brush. She first traced a printed drawing of a Korean flower and began to paint with the colors in their paint palette. 2. Helena Chin sits with Club Advisor, Ms. Yeo, and works on completing her three-di- mensional artwork of a cup of noodles. In Creative Drawing Club, Helena made the noodles look like they were popping out of the cup by tearing the paper and rolling it forward. 3. Jacob Ahn and Gabriel Kim take a break from their underwater drawings and share their creations with one another. Art Club was run by four Junior students: Hannah Kim, Itomi Ishizuka, Akari Sakamoto, and Kelly Kim. 4. In Pop-Up Book Club, Junwoo Kang and Eliot Ha cut paper into the shape of a Christmas tree. The Club Advisor went 100 Winter Sports 4 7 5 8 around the room and helped each student, but not before handing out each individual packet and showing them what their pop up book would look like. 5. Asmi Jain cuts out her drawing to make it look three-dimensional. Creative drawing is an after school activity led by Ms. Yeo. 6. Following the instructions in front of him, Lakshya Agrawal forms his triangle for the tip of his Christmas tree soap art. In addition to the Christmas-themed soap, students also created lanterns and masks. 7. In Pop-Up Book Club, Guanmou Lu glues his lush green forest to the card. “The Hungry Green Cat- erpillar” book was used as a reference for what a pop-up book should look like. 8. Niko Shimokawa uses markers to pre-draw her ideas. The students were able to draw anything they want.
