1 1. With their acquired knowledge, Bowen Song, Joshua Laroche, and Martin Kim reflect upon which action they would like to take. Their topic was on stopping war. They re- searched various wars and how to bring about peace. 2. Kentaro Ikeda is pulled across the pool by his teammate in their self constructed boat. Each team had to plan and construct their own boat. They then selected who would pull the boat and who would be in the boat. 3. Grade five teacher, Ms. Heath, sits with Kotono Furukawa and Ikoi Okagaki in attempt to develop a ‘big idea’ for their exhibition. After the big idea was developed students were able to begin research. This team selected sick kids in Japan and interviewed nurses and researched various organizations which help sick children. 4. During exhibition day, grade- one, Shunnosuke Uchiyama approaches the solar panel team composed of Minhong Kim, Peter Park, and Chihiro Koga. This group presented on how to conserve energy through solar panels and even wrote a letter to Mr. Brumsickle, the Assistant Headmaster, explain- ing the benefits of solar panels. 5.
