1. Haley Park, Younglee Kim, Stephanie Kim, and Misa Suh lift Esther Yoon up in the air during the half time performance. In between a basketball game, cheerleaders perform stunts and chants. 2. Kelly Chang practices getting lifted up by several of the bases. It is essential for flyers to prepare well because they have to jump back down to the arms of bases, which is often dangerous. 3. Jenny Lee, Haley Park, Stephanie Kim, and Esther Yoon huddle together as they watch a special video dedicated to the senior cheerleaders. The two coaches, Ms. Cho and Ms. Kim, created this video to be shown during the pep-assembly. 4. Sarah Kim performs chants with pompoms. During the pep rally, cheerleaders pulled together a preview of their half time performance. 5. During warm-up, Misa Suh stretches her arms and sides to get ready for stunts. Warm up sessions were put in place to prevent any injuries during practice and actual performances. 6. Kaitlyn Lee places the pompoms down and picks up the sign. The second part of the cheer performance at the Pep Rally was to make a performance through signs. 7. Betty Hwang, Jenny Lee, and Younglee Kim lead the crowd in the school chant and promote school spirit. Some of the teachers also followed suit in participation to show their school spirit along with the cheerleaders.
