Brian Bae and Gina Park decorate their homeroom teacher, Mrs.
Lozano during the Christmas Chapel ‘Wrap your Teacher’ competition.
Brian and Changmin Moon ran to the back of the auditorium to grab as
many items as possible to wrap their teacher with while the rest of the
homeroom waited up front to quickly wrap their teacher. Mrs. Loza-
no’s homeroom took second place and received
chocolate as a prize.
1. In the early morning,
Summer Freeman sings ‘Frosty the Snowman’ with
other elementary students. Together with Frontline, they welcomed students
and teachers entering the school. 2. Sixth grade, Ethan Baek and Hyung Wook Ku, take photos and
videos of the hilarious scene of their friends decorating their homeroom teachers with Christmas
props. The homerooms that participated were Mr. Francois, Mr. Pownall, and Ms. Muus’ homeroom.
3. Woojin Lee draws homerooms to decorate their teachers with Christmas items. Mr. Moc, Mrs.
Kim, Mr. Smith, and Mrs. Lozano’s homerooms were drawn and students enthusiastically decorated
their teacher. A prize was given to the homeroom who received the best reaction from the audience.
4. On the last day of Christmas, Cian Harding and Eedo Wilson sing ‘Joy to the World’. The singing
took place in the lobby on the “Fifth Day of Christmas.” 5 . On the “Fourth Day of Christmas,” Mr.
Lozano and Guang Tseng make hot chocolate to hand out with the Bible verses. Lower and Upper Sec-
ondary Frontline were committed to the event as the members came in the early morning to set up
and prepare. 6 . Jonathan Lee, Brian Kim, and Claudia Choi organize goodie bags for students to pick
up in the morning. For the school week leading to Christmas, Frontline organized a different event for
each day. 7. Soeun Kim decorates Mr. Smith with different Christmas props. The activity was specially
organized by Frontline for the Christmas themed Chapel.
During Christmas Chapel, I
talked about how Jesus is a gift
to us. Christmas has a lot of
meaning to different people.
It can be about presents, vaca-
tion, God, or a little bit of all.
The true purpose of Christmas
was to bring God’s son, Jesus,
to Earth so that He could live
as a man and show us what it’s
like to live in God’s Kingdom.
God gave us the best thing that
He could give: His son, the per-
fect human, and the one that
helped to create the universe.
