1. Lucas Lee sets the ball in a game against Chadwick. As the setter, Lucas consistently practiced his form during the hitting line drill. 2. During warm-
ups at the Chadwick game, the boys Junior Varsity Volleyball players line up to practice their bumps and dives. Peter Jeong keeps his arms straight and
locked so that he hits the ball with his forearm. 3. Before the start of the game, Matthias Buesing, Jean Yi, and Lucas Lee join arms with their starting
team members to bow as a way to show sportsmanship and respect. Bowing can be done at the start, middle, and end of the games. 4. Prior to the
Chadwick match, Coach Ronnie Laroche bring the team to discuss strategies and motivation. He also selected his starters: Lucas Lee, Jun Park, Jean Yi,
Tae Woo Kim, E-Joon Ko, and Peter Jeong. While the Knight lost, they gave their best. 5. After Matthias Buesing serves the ball, SIS quickly spikes the
ball, but Jean Yi takes a dive to the floor to bump the ball back up and over the net. He successfully gets back up just in time for the return to once
again set the ball for Lucas Lee. 6. Minsung Kim, Jun Park, Jason Lee, Paul Lee, Tom Nam, and June Park sit by and watch a practice match unfold.
It is common for the Junior Varsity and Varsity to have practice matches with one another to develop their skills. 7. Lucas Lee warms-up before a
match against Chadwick by serving, setting, bumping, and spiking. Afterward, the team ran half court and practiced blocking. 8. At the end of the
first set against SIS, Jun Park drinks water to stay hydrated. Players get to take water breaks at the end of every set.
