Visiting the library is a fun activity.
Getting to pick out books to bring back
to the ELC is a great adventure for the
students. Mrs. Lamb the librarian always
enjoyed seeing the ELC children.

Although the ELC had a h umble beginning with four children, it has grown
mightily in the past years. The ELC
now has 22 children. That is a lot of
laughter and fun in one building!

Color and Light Exploration
ELC students were brought to the auditorium to explore the ways color, light, and
sound work. They first were given a basket full of battery-operated candles. After
they turned all of them on, they noticed all of the differet colors: red, green,
blue, and yellow. Next, they were given glowing braceletes. Afterwards,
all of the lights were turned off in the auditorium, and the students
ran around. They observed how the colors seemed even brighter without light. They also noticed how they could only see
their friends when they were close to one another. The
students played, laughed, and chased one another
for 30 minutes.
