This GROWMARK subsidiary has been recognized as a member of the EPA’s SmartWay Transport Partnership Program. • GROWMARK’s Council Bluffs, Iowa lubricant plant maintains its ISO 9001:2015 certification. Here custom lubricants are formulated to help customers extend engine life, reduce energy consumption, and save money. • Through a partnership with COFCO International, GROWMARK utilizes a stateof-the-art barge and rail facility outside St. Louis, Missouri to move grain to overseas markets. • Fertilizer is blended to precise measurements in more than six state-of-the-art facilities within the GROWMARK System. These facilities allow GROWMARK to promote good nutrient stewardship through accuracies in blending and product volume movement. • The Member Advantage Pricing (MAP) process gives members the best price in their market over a 48-hour period. This process enables GROWMARK to forecast and optimize distribution, resulting in more efficient use of resources. • Many of GROWMARK’s member cooperatives and retail divisions are re-equipping their properties with energy savings improvements. For example, Seedway is switching to LED lighting and adding lighting motion sensors at their main facility in Hall, New York to save energy. The Cottam, Ontario fertilizer facility eliminated overhead lighting and is lit by natural light through the translucent fabric roof. 11
