BP Singapore Milestones

BP officially launched the world’s pilot hydrogen service station alongside a conventional BP
motor fuel service station by Environment Minister, Lim Swee Say who made the milestone
refueling stop at BP Upper East Coast Road on 19 July.
BP celebrated its 40th Anniversary.
BP sold its refining and retail businesses.
BP expanded its office space by 30% when it relocated from BP tower at Alexandra Road
to Keppel Bay Tower at HarbourFront Avenue in mid 2005. The move was to enhance the
Singapore office status as a strategic regional knowledge hub in Asia. Providing a wide
range of knowledge base functions and services to the Group’s diverse range of activities
in the Asia Pacific Region. Legal, Tax, Finance, IT, HR, Audit and Security all have centres of
expertise in Singapore.
BP participated at the Launch of Science & Technology Year, by Prince Andrew, Duke of York,
