STRATEGIC PLANNING – BRIDGING THE GAP: PARLIAMENTARIANS
AS AGENTS OF CHANGE
On the second day of the Gathering, formalities were abandoned and participants rolled up their sleeves to partake in creative small-group activities. With the purpose of building a regional agenda for action, the Group conducted a strategic planning session led by Keila González, resident director for the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Mexico.
It’s not just what we do, it’s how.
Specific Objectives
· To prioritize issues and strategies for the Group’s work over
the next year.
· To develop concrete commitments from legislators to
contribute to progress in these areas.
· To identify the education and training needed to work on the
issues prioritized.
