the club museum . The seats are a deep blue colour and although of the more modern design , only benefit from cushioning in the executive areas . There are four large video screens , each measuring 325 square metres ; one in each corner .
On entering eyes are automatically drawn to the south end of the ground , where a vast single tier stand looms high above the pitch . Consisting of 17,500 seats , it is 223 steps from the bottom to the top . At the top , glazed panels afford views across London , with many iconic sites visible , including the towers of Canary Wharf . The lowest section of this stand has been fitted with rail seating , meaning that safe standing would be available should the law on the subject ever change .
