AFC FYLDE MAKE THEIR PITCH The West Stand at The view from the as yet undeveloped end Mill Farm is very much the focal point of the stadium, for as well as dressing rooms and club offices, it contains a sports bar, a Mediterranean restaurant, a coffee shop and a conference and banqueting suite. The stand will eventually be complemented by covered terraces on the remaining three sides of the ground, but at the moment the far end consists of flat standing only. The two sides that are covered possess identical roofs, the front parts of which curve gently outwards, and seen from a certain angle have the faint suggestion of art décor about them. The terraces within are steeply stepped and well barriered, with grey brick toilet and refreshment blocks book-ending both of the structures. Floodlighting at Mill Farm is a tale of two halves, with lamps being incorporating in the roof of the main stand on one side, and opposite the stand mounted on four curved stalks, which loom over the ground in a predatory fashion. As a nod to the club's humble origins when they played at Coronation Road in Kirkham, the road that leads from the A585 to Mill Farm has been named Coronation Way.
