NOTES
The spring of 1995 seems a long time ago now. The
Premier League was still in its infancy, the old Wembley
was giving good service and a club like Ajax were still
strong enough to win the Champions League. It was
also the year that this magazine came into being, the
first-ever issue being produced to coincide with one
the Easter Northern League Groundhops. With this
issue being number 80, it marks twenty years of
Groundtastic. Things have obviously changed over
those two decades, with the internet opening up information to a worldwide audience. However, it seems
that the desire for tangible printed material has not
waned, with the magazine (and thankfully its editors)
still in good health. We hope you enjoy this issue and
stay with us for another 20 years!
