The fuel crisis, monsoon weather and the Foot & Mouth outbreak all conspired to give some clubs a really tough end to the season. Some promotions and relegations have been sorted out but others still lie with the respective leagues and their decisions over who gets elected and who doesn’t. Have no doubt, the top factor in deciding these issues will be ground-grading, so keep your eyes on the sports pages. 20 24 28 32 35 36 40 44 48 50 51 GT25 marks the 25th anniversary (Issue-wise) of our magazine. As we enter our seventh year of publication we are still determined to improve the product where we can. The obvious downside is the loss of the old grounds and another that suddenly popped off at the end of the season without much publicity was Canal Street, Runcorn. We can’t go without mentioning the awful stadium tragedies that have occurred in Africa over the last few weeks.
