To maximise its usage, Victoria Park not surprisingly comes with 3G playing surface, which means that the costly postponements sometimes suffered at Footes Lane will no longer be an issue. And, as a football specific stadium, spectators are now on top of the action, as opposed to Footes Lane with its running track and athletics paraphernalia. Victoria Park has a capacity of 3,200, including seating for 600 and covered standing for a similar amount. On the clubhouse side, two well-raked seated stands are separated by a players’ tunnel, above which is perched a glass fronted media centre.
