Notes : It won ’ t have escaped your notice that this year marks 100 years since Wembley was first used . To mark this occasion , GT113 is somewhat of a Wembley Special , with a look at the events that led to the then Empire Stadium being built , a visit to the national stadium ’ s local non-league club with which it shares a name and , the so-called Wembley of the North , Port Vale ’ s Vale Park . In addition , we also have the usual eclectic mix of other features , such as a wonderful wander around some of the most photogenic grounds in Europe and a look back at a much-loved football map from the 1970s .
