Notes : The 2022 / 23 season started early this year , mainly to make space for the World Cup that will take place in Qatar in November and December . One of our readers has already visited some of the stadiums being used for the tournament and gives us a preview of what to expect . You can read all about it from page 69 . One of the benefits from the ‘ elite ’ level clubs taking a World Cup winter break may be supporters looking for games to go to lower down the pyramid . If clubs are switched on and are flexible with kick-off times to fit around the TV games , there ’ s an opportunity to be had .
