Notes : The global Coronavirus pandemic continues to play havoc with football , with a
total lockout of fans in Wales , Scotland and Northern Ireland . Fans were allowed in at lower levels in England between August and October , but a second lockdown also stopped that from early November . At the time of writing it is not clear if or when the rules will be relaxed to allow some fans to attend games again . Whatever happens , it seems likely that 2020 / 21 will be remembered alongside 2019 / 20 as one of the most unusual seasons any of us has ever experienced .
