TOP DRESSING conventional tipping, so the same three-tonne trailer can earn its keep moving bulk materials throughout the year.

Once the supply of material is organised, the spreading machine needs to suit the working area and the vehicles already available. The StarGreen range offers a truckmounted model and three tractortowed options, covering golf greens through to fairways, sports pitches and larger contractor or council operations.
For golf greens, the TD700DM is a firm favourite. Mounted on a suitable utility vehicle such as a John Deere ProGator or Toro Workman, it combines a 700-litre hopper with
the manoeuvrability needed to work around greens and tees.
Adjustable conveyor belt and spinner speeds allow the operator to set the delivery and spread, with remote switching from the cab. A hydraulic rear flow gate controls discharge, while the cleated belt feeds sand to twin spreading discs. Mounting brackets and a demount stand kit are included, allowing the unit to be removed when the vehicle is needed for other duties.
Where a compact tractor is the preferred power unit, the TD700T offers the same 700-litre hopper, holding approximately 1.2 tonnes of topdressing. Its four turf tyres run on pivoting axles to follow contours and distribute the load.
For larger areas, the TD1500T increases hopper capacity to 1,500 litres, or approximately 2.5 tonnes. It is suited to fairways and sports grounds where greater capacity helps reduce the frequency of refilling.
The largest model, the TD3000T, carries approximately five tonnes in its 3,000-litre hopper. Wide flotation tyres spread the load, while full in-cab controls, hydraulic brakes and road lighting make it a practical choice for contractors and other large-scale users.
Across the range, British manufacture and fully welded steel construction provide a tough machine for regular work. The steelwork is shot blasted, zinc
