Versatility is the STrac 720’ s superpower
s finding the right
I machine for the task, then having enough secure storage space, hindering your grounds maintenance solutions?
Step forward, a pedestrian grounds maintenance operating system that offers EIGHT processes.
Many operators are discovering the STrac 720 is a highly versatile tool. This series of specialised machines addresses a wide range of turf maintenance needs, including aeration, verticutting, overseeding, and sod cutting. The STrac 720 features easy controls on its powerful guiding handle and a set of interchangeable heads, all with a working width of 65 cm. A very short turning radius means the rear wheels can adopt a variety of operating positions, while the tools connect effortlessly, cassette style.
For teams looking to work more efficiently, the STrac offers a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to buying multiple task-specific machines. One power unit means one engine to maintain, helping reduce fleet complexity while supporting carbon reduction goals. It also avoids the cost and storage demands that often come with housing several separate machines. Storage can be a major issue for many depots and maintenance compounds, so the compact footprint of the STrac and its cassette heads is a major advantage where space is limited.
Ease of operation is another key benefit. Changing attachments takes only minutes, while working depth adjustments are straightforward and familiar, much like setting the height of cut on a mower unit. Clear depth guides on each attachment help operators make accurate changes quickly. In use, the STrac combines steady transport speed with strong working performance. It moves comfortably between areas, saving time and effort across larger sites, while remaining stable and consistent on slopes and uneven ground.
Choose either a 12.5 hp Honda engine to power the STrac 720 hydraulic hitch and guiding handle.( Choose the 8.5 hp for the STrac 700.) Simply connect a dedicated ST task cassette head to the STrac’ s hydraulic hitch, engage the mechanical PTO drive, and you are ready to work. Cassettes, with a working width of 65 cm, are available for overseeding, aerating, scarifying, coring, fraise mowing, sand filling, sod cutting and disc or dimple seeding. The STrac is light, fast and versatile, helping deliver consistent standards of presentation across a site. Challenging areas such as edges, tight spaces, slopes and locations where a tractor is too large or heavy are suddenly within reach. Flexible rear wheel positions provide multiple options to manoeuvre close to edges and around obstacles.
