Built specifically for demanding environments such as parks, sports fields, cemeteries, golf courses and contractor operations, the Profihopper’ s compact, self-propelled design combines precision cutting with powerful auger driven collection and compaction technology— all in one pass.
The Profihopper is distinguished by its integrated PowerCompactor system, which uses longitudinal and transverse augers to convey and tightly compact cuttings into the rear hopper. By mechanically transporting material rather than relying on a high-speed blower, it achieves impressive filling efficiency while keeping dust and noise levels low— a real benefit when working in public spaces. The compaction system allows significantly longer working periods between emptying stops, helping operators maintain productivity throughout the day.
At the heart of the machine is the SmartCut fine flail rotor, delivering a clean, even finish in both short and long grass. Its ability to mow, scarify, mulch and collect makes it a genuine all-season solution— from earlyseason renovation through to autumn leaf clearance. Available in 1.25 m and 1.50 m working widths, with smart hydrostatic drive and zero-turn steering, the Profihopper offers outstanding manoeuvrability around trees, pathways and urban obstacles. Operator comfort is also prioritised, with intuitive controls, excellent visibility and a smooth ride across varying terrain, including the option of a cab with integrated heating and air conditioning.
Alongside the Profihopper sits the Amazone Groundkeeper, a tractor-mounted flail mowercollector that’ s a solid choice for larger estates and municipal contracts, offering wide working widths of up to 2.1 m and excellent cut-and-collect performance across terrains.
Looking ahead, Amazone will introduce the Amazone ProfiMower to the UK later this year. Based on the proven Profihopper platform, it will offer high-output mowing with rotary BladeCut or fine flail SmartCut options, providing contractors and local authorities with even greater flexibility across a diverse range of maintenance programmes.
