Built with Japanese precision and efficiency, the TDA1200 and TDA 1600 offer tool-less depth adjustment and a range of solid and hollow tine options making them a versatile choice for all types of fine turf and sports turf surface.
With a 1.2m and 1.6m working width respectively, the TDA1200 and TDA1600 are designed with affordability and simplicity of operation at their core. With a working speed of 2km / h and two crankshaft operating speeds, the user has complete control over the aeration of greens & tees, tennis courts and sports grounds. Both models come equipped with a full width rear roller and roller scraper as standard to ensure that, once complete, surfaces are presented to the best possible finish – fit and ready for play.
The straight action of the TDA range with no heave further reduces surface disruption, with enhanced protection from turf lifting provided by the soil reliever finger plates.
The TDA1600 can work down to a maximum depth of 180mm, while the smaller TDA1200 offers impressive compaction relief down to 250mm – both quickly and easily adjustable on site without using any tools. The standard tine holders can accommodate tines from 8mm to 19mm, though multi-tine carrier blocks can be fitted if required to produce an even tighter aeration pattern.
It’ s lightweight construction, requiring just a 18hp or 24hp compact tractor depending on the model, certainly does not mean a compromise in stability or efficiency. The quick and smooth action of the Baroness TDA1600 means it can cover an impressive surface area of up to 3,120m2 per hour.
