A Celebration of excellence and innovation Innovation and excellence will take centre stage during the BIGGA Celebration , an event sponsored by robotic machinery manufacturer Kress . Held on the opening evening in the Harrogate Convention Centre ’ s Royal Hall , the BIGGA Celebration will feature Sky Sports presenter Sarah Stirk as host .

Beyond the trade show BTME is more than just a trade exhibition – it ’ s a week-long celebration of the industry . Key highlights include the Golf Environment Awards , of which BIGGA is a long-term supporter – and sessions hosted in collaboration with the Golf Club Managers Association . The R & A and England Golf will be in attendance and there will be various themed hubs designed to address critical aspects of groundskeeping .
The Sustainability Zone will focus on environmentallyfriendly practices , while the Support and Welfare Hub will provide wellbeing resources and advice . The Education Hub will feature representatives from the Greenkeepers Training Committee and BIGGAapproved training providers , ensuring visitors have access to a comprehensive range of learning opportunities . For those seeking a fun and charitable activity , the Monster Putt with Huxley Golf will raise funds for the BIGGA Greenkeepers Benevolent Fund .
For many groundskeepers , BTME is more than just an event – it ’ s a career-enhancing experience . Callum White , Head Greenkeeper at Kirkaldy Golf Club , shared his thoughts : “ I ’ m excited for my sixth visit to BTME . I enjoy the social aspect , meeting up with friends from all over the globe , and it ’ s also great to see the new advances in technology every year . I find it interesting to have a look at the new product ranges everyone is bringing out and it ’ s a lot easier to do business when everything is in one place . BTME has helped me with my career , enabling me to meet some very talented people , and I ’ ve maintained those relationships long after we ’ ve left Harrogate .”
