solution for landscaping equipment and construction power tools that supplies consistent , long-lasting power directly to Makita ’ s range of Connect X compatible tools . The Connect X Backpacks can also supply power to Makita ’ s LXT and XGT equipment via an adaptor .

Makita ’ s Connect X accelerates the transition to battery power with a high capacity battery built into its Connect X Backpacks , to enable allday work and performance without the hassles of petrol or cords .
The Connect X Backpack Power Supply is compatible with Makita ’ s premium line of Connect X equipment , which includes the recently launched LM001C Lawnmower , the UR201C Linetimmer and UB003C and Blower .
For the ultimate in versatility , the Connect X Backpack Power Supply can also be used with Makita ’ s
40VMax XGT and 36V ( 18V x2 ) LXT products - when used with an adaptor .
Built-in backpack power
There are two primary Connect X Backpack batteries with in-built power that can be used as a portable power source to extend the run time of Makita ’ s products : The PDC1200 features 1,200Wh of battery capacity providing runtimes equivalent to 11x 18V 6.0Ah batteries and the PDC1500 with higher capacity battery delivering 1,500 watt hours of output .
Two ways to connect
Direct connection : The Connect X Backpack Power Supply attaches directly to Connect X power equipment . When you pair the Connect X Backpack Power Supply with Connect X commercial power equipment , there ’ s no adaptor needed . For mowing , the battery can be removed from the backpack and attached to the Connect X lawnmower for up to three hours of continuous mowing . The Connect X linetrimmer and blower offer direct connection via an on-board cable .
Corded adaptor : Connect X is not a standalone system . An adaptor can be used for connecting the Connect X PDC1200 or the PDC1500 Backpack to Makita ’ s 40VMax XGT and 36V ( 18V x2 ) LXT tools to offer users with more flexibility . Simply use the adaptor to quickly connect the Connect X Backpack Power Supply .
Makita has also designed the LXT system ’ s Portable PDC01 Backpack Power Supply for compatibility with its Connect X products . Simply load two or four 18V LXT batteries into the PDC01 Backpack and connect directly to Connect X commercial power equipment . Or use an adaptor for use with Makita ’ s expansive range of LXT 18V and 36V ( 2x 18V ) products .
