The Grounds Team at Interlachen Country Club strives to deliver the best playing conditions for all of its Members. In order to reach these conditions, you will have the opportunity to work in the following areas:
GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE
• Implement and execute daily maintenance schedule on championship level course.
• Golf course set-up creating unique layout on a daily basis according to golf course conditions.
• Cultural practices necessary to maintain championship conditions.
• Utilize data collection and analysis for precision turfgrass management including TurfRad Soil Moisture Sensor technology.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND REPAIR
• Central Controller Operation: Toro Lynx
• Satellite Operation: Toro Network VP
• PVC / HDPE Pipe and Irrigation Head Repair
• Pump Station Operation: Flowtronics
• Portable Sprinkler set-up and hand-watering techniques
FERTILIZER / PESTICIDE PROGRAMMING AND APPLICATIONS
• Obtain Minnesota Pesticide Application License
• Calibrate fertilizer spreader and sprayer
• Apply Pesticides: Walking boom and riding sprayer( Toro Geolink sprayer with auto steer)
• Fertilizer Application: Rotary and drop spreader and tractor spreader
• Complete and thorough record keeping
