The facility will develop methodologies, diagnostic tools and performance metrics to help growers, dealers, original equipment manufacturers and irrigation professionals make better-informed decisions.
Questions about how sprinkler wear affects performance, when components should be replaced, how environmental conditions influence water delivery and how irrigation systems can be optimised have traditionally been answered through experience and observation.

Komet aims to apply scientific measurement and repeatable data to these questions.
