EDITOR’S NOTE
A BUSINESS
REVOLUTION
ROSS LAWSON, GRINDTRIBE FOUNDER
My name is Ross Lawson, founder
of GRINDTRIBE Media Group and
Editor-In-Chief of GRINDTRIBE
Magazine. I want to dedicate this
first article, in this very first issue,
to you the reader and here’s why
- time.
Your time is a precious resource
and it is being doggedly
demanded from multiple sources.
The fact that you are allocating
some of that precious time to
reading this issue of GRINDTRIBE
Magazine is amazing and we
couldn’t be more grateful. You are
the reason we do this and you are
the reason why we’ll continue on
with our mission.
I personally feel an overwhelming
responsibility to ensure that the
time you do spend digesting this
magazine delivers meaningful
value. I started GRINDTRIBE
pledging to the put the needs of
customers first, and it shall forever
remain that way. I hope that by
the time you have finished
reading this first issue you can
experience first-hand just how
hard we work to drive value into
every aspect of our business in
order to best serve you - the Tribe.
You can tell a lot about a person
based on how they spend their
time. Some people spend their
time socialising, shopping and
binging on Game of Thrones.
Whilst others spend their time
learning new skills, creating
products and growing businesses.
As the saying goes, ‘Some spend
their time wishing it would
happen, while some spend their
time making it happen.’
GRINDTRIBE Magazine is
designed to provide you with the
insights, information and
inspiration you need to “make it
happen” by connecting you with
the business leaders of today.
One of the most beneficial ways
one can spend their time is by
investing it in learning and
self-development. There does,
however, come a time when you
need to stop learning and start
doing. That’s why GRINDTRIBE
Magazine strikes a balance
between providing founders,
entrepreneurs and business
leaders with the strategies, tactics
and tips they need to grow a
business - and actionable
takeaways that drive a culture of
execution. The yin and yang.
In this issue we take a look at
the person whom inspired us to
start GRINDTRIBE, Ryan Blair. He
spends most of his time grinding
and this strategy has paid off for
him big time. Ryan Blair started
off with nothing and went from a
street gang member in LA to
selling multiple businesses for
hundreds of millions of dollars.
This is one man who spends his
time wisely and it is well worth
you spending some time learning
from this iconic entrepreneur.
I hope you enjoy this first issue.
