started jogging and then I decided on the running streak .”
Denney runs outdoors but also indoors when there ’ s lightning outside .
She now has a treadmill , but before that she ran out in the snow in snow boots .
While running , she listens to podcasts or music , ranging from classical to hard rock and contemporary Christian music .
“ Whatever my soul needs ,” she said . “ It ’ s my time to refill my cup so I can pour back into others .
“ My running time is my time to selfreflect . Spend time with God and reset myself .”
Finding the time to run hasn ’ t been easy . She owns and operates ReMax 3D Real Estate and Onward Adventures . She ’ s a certified speaker and has been the studio host for more than 100 Heart of Greenville video shows . She ’ s also on the foundation board for Hunt County Regional Heathcare and a member of the Rotary Club . In addition , she supports her children and the Greenville Christian athletic and scholastic programs .
When asked how she finds the time to run every day , she replied : “ I tell them you make time for the things that are important to you .”
Dennisha has run a half-marathon in Fort Worth and plans to run a 5K race in Dallas with her daughter .
“ My goal for 2023 is a full marathon ,” she said .
Denney , who is 44 , intends to keep running “ as long as God will let me .” “ He ’ s the one that lets me keep going .”
