Valedictorian 2022 - Emily Johnson

Headmaster Mark Reisner is pleased to announce Miss Emily Johnson as Greenville Christian ’ s 2022 Valedictorian .

She has been a student at GC since 8th grade . During these years , Emily has flourished in her classes , earning 24 dual credit hours and a 4.23 GPA .

Recently she was awarded 1st Place at the State TAPPS Art Competition with her portfolio as well as black and white drawing , and 2nd place in on-site drawing .

Additionally , she was presented a gold medal for her drawing and illustration submissions through the national Scholastic Art & Writing competition . This is a part of the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent . Emily ’ s entries will be exhibited in Washington , D . C ., and then as a part of a national , traveling exhibit .

Beyond the classroom , Emily is a member of NHS , SADD , and has volunteered with FISH Ministries , Walworth Harrison Library , and I-Go Global mission trips .

Next year she will be a part of the Honor ’ s College at Stephen F . Austin University in Nacogdoches where she will major in creative writing . Emily is the daughter of Kim and David Johnson of Greenville .

Greenville Christian School Salutatorian 2022 - Kilee Davis

Headmaster Mark Reisner is pleased to announce Miss Kilee Davis as Greenville Christian ’ s 2022 Salutatorian .

She has been a student at GC since Pre-K 4 . She graduates with a GPA of 4.11 and 36 dual credit hours .

At graduation , she will also receive the Legacy Award , as her mother is an alumna of Greenville Christian .

Academically , Miss Davis has been on High Honor Roll throughout high school and a member of NHS , SADD , and HEROES .

She has also volunteered with Operation Christmas Child , Community Seeds , Drug Free Greenville , and FISH Ministries .

Also , Miss Davis has been a class representative in Student Council , in addition to being a member of the varsity cheer for two years .

Her extra-curricular activities involve recreational and competitive dance in jazz , hip-hop , tap , ballet , pointe , lyrical , contemporary , and musical theater .

Next year she will be attending East Texas Baptist University in Marshall , majoring in business . Miss Davis is the daughter of Ashli and Chance Davis of Greenville .
