Valedictorian 2022 - Hannah Cottingham

Bland High School Valedictorian for 2022 is Hannah Cottingham . She is the daughter of Matthew and Angela Cottingham .

Hannah has been involved in robotics , Beta , chess club and book club throughout high school .

Hannah has competed in the VASE art competition all four years of high school and medaled all four years . Her artwork advanced to state this year and medaled at the state competition .

Outside of school , Hannah enjoys playing instruments and participating in art gallery showings .

Accepted into the Honor ’ s College , Hannah will be attending Texas A & M Commerce to earn a bachelor ’ s degree in art . After graduation , she plans to further her education by earning a master ’ s in architecture at Texas A & M , College Station . Hannah plans to pursue a career in architecture .

Bland High School Salutatorian for 2022 is Emily Urban . She is the daughter of Steve and Katherine Urban .

Emily has been involved in yearbook , student council , Beta , the Health Club Committee ( AKASHAC ) and golf .

Emily competed in the VASE art competition this year with both of her pieces of art earning medals .

Accepted into the Honor ’ s College , Emily will be attending Texas A & M University at Commerce to study kinesiology . She plans to earn both bachelor and master degrees on her way to becoming an athletic trainer .
