ST. ANNE HOME ANNOUNCES NEW AFFILIATION
St. Anne Home in Greensburg has entered into a new operational services agreement with The Carmelite System— a respected leader in faith-based senior care. The partnership will allow St. Anne Home to expand resources and enhance person-centered care while maintaining its Catholic values, Felician Franciscan charism and ongoing sponsorship by the Felician Sisters.
“ This marks an exciting new chapter,” said Marie Zanotti, chair of the board of directors.“ We’ re ensuring that residents, families, and staff benefit from expanded resources and innovative practices, all while preserving the mission and values that define us.”
Daily operations and local governance will remain unchanged, and informational sessions for residents, families, and staff will be held in the coming weeks. Founded in 1964, St. Anne Home continues its mission of compassionate service to seniors throughout Greensburg and Westmoreland County.
2026 LUCKY NUMBER TICKETS AVAILABLE
The Sisters of Divine Providence announced the availability of 2026 Lucky Number tickets. This fundraiser is based on the Pick 3 Evening PA Lottery game. Each $ 25 number is valid from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026— yours for the entire year!
Daily winners receive a minimum of $ 25 up to $ 150 on select days throughout the year when their three-digit number is selected. Gift orders are available.

PASSAVANT MEMORIAL HOMES GOLF CLASSIC RAISES $ 143K
Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation( PMHF) raised more than $ 143,000 at the 32nd Annual Golf Classic, held at Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City.
The funds support children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism and behavioral health needs who are served by Passavant Memorial Homes, which operates nearly 100 homes for more than 200 individuals across Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.

Highlights of the event included a bourbon tasting station, cookie table, photo booth, silent auction and multiple hole-in-one contests. Celina Pompeani Mathison of KDKA-TV emceed the day, and the PMHF Classic Cup went to the foursome led by Dr. Frank Makoczy of Beaver Falls.
WESTMORELAND DIVERSITY COALITION CONCLUDES A DECADE OF IMPACT
After 10 years of advancing equity, understanding and inclusion, the Westmoreland Diversity Coalition officially dispersed on June 30, following the retirement of founder and co-chair Carlotta Paige. During its tenure, the organization launched a wide range of initiatives including the Billboard Project celebrating county diversity, Turn the Tables dinners fostering dialogue, the Hidden Treasures series honoring community heroes, youth programs like the Reaching for Knowledge Book Club, unconscious bias workshops and a local film festival.
These programs brought together nonprofits, schools, faith-based organizations and government agencies to create inclusive spaces for education, collaboration and conversation. While the coalition’ s formal convening has ended, many local organizations have adopted the programs and values— continuing to promote equity, connection and community engagement throughout Westmoreland County.
