My new favorite...
Hiding in plain sight, at 112A Annapolis Street, in
West Annapolis, sits my new favorite go to...Bean
Rush Café.
Owned and operated by Marc and Shannon Abrahams, This wonderful little slice of heaven features
a full array of signature coffee blends (all created
by Shannon) such as the Honeybee Latte, Almond
Joy, or the Crème Brulee. There are some many
to choose from. With weekly deliveries of fresh
roasted beans, so your cup is guaranteed to be
fresh and flavorful. For the non-coffee drinker,
they make one of the best Chai tea Lattes I’ve ever had. They can also serve
it “dirty” by adding 2 shots of expresso to it. Really? Why hadn’t I heard of that before? They
feature 22 different types for teas to choose from, Including Angel Falls, my daughters favorite and a
tea that is rarely found in other run of the mill coffee stops.
On any given day of the week they have almost a full house of patrons getting their day started with a
little pick me up, and a breakfast sandwich, bagel, homemade quiche or fresh pastry.
Offering free Wifi service, many a business meeting takes place in this great café. And, now
that the weather has broken, I enjoy the outside tables.
The lunch menus is plentiful with fresh made Hot Paninis, or build your own sandwiches, salads,
or a fresh fruit smoothy! On Saturdays and Sundays make sure to stop in for their fresh made
Belgium waffle breakfasts with fresh fruit and whipped cream. Oh so good!

The Bean Rush Café sets it’s self apart from the larger more commercial coffee stops (you know what
I’m talking about) by offering everything super fresh and super good. But best of all, it’s
locally owned and operated. Make sure to stop in, you won’t be disappointed!
