Glover has partnered with faculty & students from Howard
Community College and SCD Information Technology, Inc.
to set up e-commerce sites for 10 merchants so that they
can be open for business on the internet 24/7. A dozen
more merchants are in the queue to have sites developed
for their businesses.
Tammy Beideman has also taken advantage of Glover’s
service. He helped her get her ladies clothing business,
Sweet Elizabeth Jane, up and running in time for the holi-
days. Beideman, too, had lost everything in the flood and
was starting from scratch. “I knew that I needed to change
the way I ran my business,” states Beideman. “Garrett has
been our lifeline. Our team has made huge strides with Gar-
rett advising and teaching us about business management.
We now have written processes for our operations. We have
implemented a new training program and we are beginning
to fill the store with merchandise we know will sell.”

The Ellicott City Partnership and Glover continue to assist the
business district as it recovers from the flood. To make a donation
