The Green Steel World team is back with the ninth and final issue of 2023 . As always , we are immensely grateful for your continuous support .
The last two months have been quite busy here at KCI . Our editorial team visited the 13 th edition of the Stainless Steel World Conference and Exhibition that took place from 26 th to 28 th September in Maastricht , Netherlands . This exciting event brought together corrosion and materials experts from the global marketplace for three days of networking , business and learning .
As a platform focused mainly on the decarbonisation of the steel industry , we took particular interest in Day 2 , highlighted as “ Focus on Sustainability Day ”. If you would like to learn more about this , please turn to page 20 and enjoy reading about some of the key participants ´ impressions of the event .
Having the opportunity to meet many of you in person proved to be an exhilarating experience . What made it even more enjoyable was hearing that you are all looking forward to our Green Steel World Expo & Conference in June 2024 !
On that note , I would like to inform you that in 2024 we are giving our event an extra boost by introducing the youngest KCI brand , Carbon Capture World . It will serve as a powerful networking tool for information exchange and knowledge transfer . You can find all the information about the special Carbon Capture Stage on our website .
Lastly , I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude towards all the contributors , supporters and of course , you , readers . This would not have been possible without your help .
