Dear readers,
There ' s not so much to say this month. Not because nothing has happened( in fact, a lot has happened, as you will read in this issue), but because I am still overwhelmed by our Green Steel World 2025 conference in Düsseldorf.
Experts from all over the world came to Düsseldorf to either speak or listen and learn about the latest developments and trends in the industry. If you were to summarize the themes of the event, the following would emerge: The role of AI in industrial processes, decarbonization, ESG and alternative( green) energy technologies are gaining more and more attention.
On behalf of the entire Green Steel World team, I would like to thank all participants, both speakers and delegates, for an excellent conference. There was a lot to learn and many experts to meet to share experiences and new ideas. It is you who made this event the success that it was and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with you.
Personally, as I mentioned before, I had a great time and was very happy to meet so many familiar and new faces. Thank you for that!
And now for something completely different: With this June issue, Green Steel World magazine concludes its publication series. The decision to close this chapter was not an easy one, but it allows us to focus our efforts on the areas where we see the greatest impact. It has been a pleasure, an honour and a privilege to bring this vibrant community together over the past few years. I would like to thank all our contributors and readers for their commitment, trust and support.
The Green Steel World brand lives on- through our website, our newsletter, our great LinkedIn community and the annual conference. We look forward to continuing the dialog through these platforms.
Good Company
Best wishes, Christian Borrmann
Brand Director
