Christian, how would you sum up Instrumetrics World?
Instrumetrics World is a unique platform dedicated to connecting a global community of people and companies involved in the manufacture, supply, and use of instrumentation and measurement technology.
Does Instrumetrics World have a particular focus?
We plan to make Instrumetrics World an all-encompassing platform that is relevant, beneficial, and freely available to all manufacturers and users of instrumentation and measurement components, as well as software. Hereby lies the focus on different devices and the incredibly wide range of applications where instrumentation is applicable: life sciences, oil and gas, chemical, power generation, food and beverage, marine and( waste) water, and mechanical engineering, just to name a few. However, we will certainly report on all other relevant topics as well, such as where and how purchasers are looking to plan instrumentation within their facilities and processes, industry innovations, the role of IIOT( industrial internet of things), data collection and their security, the role of the engineering companies, etc.
Who is set to benefit from this initiative?
Just about everyone who works with instrumentation, sensors, software and process optimization! Company owners, instrumentation and control engineers, process designers, procurement officers, project managers, scientists, research institutes, NGOs, etc. are the group of experts which we want to bring together.

What company is behind Instrumetrics World?
Let me introduce KCI World, which stands for knowledge, communication, and information. The company was founded in 1989, as a multimedia publishing company, specializing in technical equipment such as stainless steel, valves, pumps, and now instrumentation. Our goal is to deliver reliable technical information relevant to engineers and technical staff working in or supporting key industries such as power plants, refineries, food and beverage production lines,( waste) water applications, life sciences, etc. We really want to contribute to a more sustainable society, and I am sure that sensors, measurement data, and process optimization will play a big part in that future.
