We always need people whose skills include carpentry,
plumbing, masonry, electrical, painting, gardening, auto
maintenance and appliance repair. We need jacks-andjills-of-all-trades, too, and plenty of helpers!
In the fall of 2012 we entered into a partnership with
American Baptist Men USA to begin the interior renovation
of our historic Roger Williams Inn. Since then, over 100
men and women have come to Green Lake over the
course of four weeks to help with these efforts. Guest
room ceilings were replaced. New bedroom lighting was
installed. Hallways were scraped and freshly painted.
In addition, fall cleanup help was given to our garden
crew. The disaster relief crew from Springfield, IL came
and helped with falling and cutting up many dead trees
on the property. These work weeks are productive and
we look forward to repeating them in 2014! We know we

will still be working on Roger Williams Inn as we look
forward to our target completion in 2014. There will also
be fall grounds work to do and many other projects to be
determined. Whatever skill level you have, from being a
good helper to master fully skilled in a trade, we can use
your help and promise to use your talents well.
