Participating in God’s Ministry at Green Lake: 2013 Summer Volunteers JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER STAFF! We invite you to join us in fulfilling God’s vision for Green Lake -- guests having great experiences and a closer walk with God. This is done by providing all who come with excellent housing, dining, meeting spaces, recreation facilities and Christian service. There are multiple ways you can participate with us. It’s fun! There are many opportunities to volunteer in support of Green Lake’s mission. Good physical health and stamina to carry out tasks is required. Skills and experience in specific areas is helpful: retail sales, office work, computer work; gardening, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, auto maintenance; and transporting guests to and from the airport and train station. We provide an outstanding work environment and a community with over 75 engaging volunteers who love to plan fun outings and activities! 52 Housing for volunteers is basic and the number of rooms available is somewhat limited. Inquire about parking and hookups for campers and RVs. Meals are available in the dining room for a discounted price. Volunteer activities, worship services, free entrance into evening sessions of some conferences, discounts at Worldwide Gifts, Troster Art Studios and Padelford Country Store, free or reduced rate recreational opportunities, and the joy of working in one of God’s most beautiful places are counted among the many benefits to those who serve. For decades our guests have been blessed by the meaningful ministry of our volunteer community and this great tradition and emphasis will continue.
