Dean said they bought the building to impact the community and provide something positive to the community they ’ ve lived in their entire lives .
“ I thought it had such great potential that I wanted to be apart of that ,” she said .
After buying the building , Dean went to Facebook to see what people would like to see come downtown . Dean said many people said they ’ d like a by-theslice pizza place .
She said she reached out to the Hayes family because they have great visions and a passion about revitalization .
“ It ’ s magnetic – that energy they bring ,” she said .
Hayes said he ’ s excited to be downtown and the quick-serve feature will benefit people working nearby , like at RCB Bank and the courthouse .
“ There ’ s some excitement ,” he said . “ I think it ’ s just going to give the downtown something that it needs . You ’ ve got Main Street and Doe ’ s , but now we ’ re bringing some pizza .”
