In summary, however, we have not regretted opening at a time where the global HE sector did not. Our students valued the human interaction after being in lock-down in a country that was new to them. One student pointed out: “I am really happy to come back, because I can see my friends and lecturers, , and it is a better learning experience to be together face-to-face.” Our lecturers - while facing a number of challenges - were able to expand their teaching skill-set by combining online classes with face-to-face teaching . One lecturer expressed the following: “Online teaching revolutionized my methodology and has contributed to enhancing my pedagogic skills… Conducting the online lectures via Zoom has helped me to embrace new technologies and new practices.”
