I am the Chair of the Counselling Discipline with ACAP. I am also the Discipline Lead Counselling for the Brisbane campus and the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy course coordinator.

I have worked in schools as a teacher and counsellor, and with schools as a special education consultant and district guidance counsellor. I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse individuals, groups and communities, integrating mental health wellbeing practices into the development of inclusive approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.

I strive to be an innovative leader in the field of teaching and learning and believe in cultivating a growth mindset. Fundamental to this is the integration of expert theory and quality practice to promote academic excellence and high levels of student engagement.

I love seeing the students get excited about their learning and joining the dots across their studies.

I aspire to think globally and respond locally, and believe in promoting social consciousness, productivity and wellbeing. I am always seeking to generate new knowledge and insights that enhance student learning and experiences.
