After obtaining my PhD in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine (USA), I made the biggest (and best!) move of my life to Queensland, Australia. Because criminology is a dynamic evolving field with diverse career opportunities, I feel fortunate to share my knowledge and skills with others who care about solving problems and helping other people.
I have worked for Griffith College for over five years, and I have loved every minute of it. Building relationships with students, learning about their lives, and exploring what drives them to pursue higher education are the best parts of my job. Watching my students grow as people and go on to do great things is truly rewarding.
