It has been great to see the yearly enrolment figures rise from small beginnings to over seven hundred a year over this time. It has provided a wonderful opportunity to work with a diverse group of young people who have come from over a hundred countries.

As exciting as the field of sociology has been to me before teaching international students, the opportunity to teach students from the Global Student Success Program has raised the experience to a new level.

How fascinating it is to view life and society through the vastly different perspectives of individuals from different nations and different cultures. Our classes have been adventures in learning for all of us. The classroom is filled with the most interesting, fascinating students from around the world! We explore together how we differ, but more importantly, we explore how very similar we are.
