ram LEADERSHIP LACKAWANNA EXECUTIVE PROGRAM CLASS OF 2019 “ The Executive Program gives participants the chance to strengthen their connection to the community. I have discovered many regional initiatives to be a part of, most of which I never would have known about had I not participated in this program. – Jim Wisnewski, Leadership Lackawanna Executive Program Class of 2018 Even though it is located in Monroe County, Tobyhanna Army Depot has a strong connection to Lackawanna County, with roughly 40% of its workforce calling it home. This connection is strengthened by the Depot’s regular participation in Leadership Lackawanna’s Executive Program, which allows it to connect with regional business professionals that might not have otherwise known about what it has to offer. “The Executive Program was an excellent opportunity to engage with community leaders, share ideas and best practices, and network with peers,” said program participant Jim Wisnewski. “One of the presentations focused on driving change in an organization, which introduced me to key experts in that field, giving me knowledge I could bring back to the workplace.” 2020 B U SINE SS A ND B U Y E R S’ GU ID E / SCRANTONCHAMBER.COM | 27
